We are excited to return to Michelle James Salon!

It will be a soft opening with VERY limited staff, services and hours. We ask for patience & kindness from all as we navigate our “New Normal.” We have a few guidelines we also ask you to follow to assure that we can give all the attention you deserve during your visit to Michelle James Salon.

We have to impose a strict 48-hour cancellation fee of $50.  If you cancel within 48 hours prior to your appointment, you will be charged $50.

What we need from you:

• Please wear a mask at all times.
• Please wait in your car or have a seat on our outdoor bench and we will text you when we are ready for you to enter the salon.
• We will take your temperature with a no-touch thermometer when you arrive at the front door.
• We will invoice you before your appointment and send a liability waiver for you to sign to ensure a contact-free visit.
• We ask that you come alone to your appointment to lower the number of bodies in the salon.

What we are doing for you:

• All staff will wear a face mask that covers the nose and mouth.
• Gloves will be worn at all times.
• Hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol will be readily available.
• Before each shift, all staff will be screened for symptoms via a no-touch forehead thermometer.
• Staff with any symptoms will not be allowed to work for at least 14 days.
• Staff will maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from others in the salon except for when directly providing client services.

A few other important items:

• Clients must be scheduled by appointment; no walk-ins.
• Ample time will be allocated between clients in order to complete required sanitation procedures.
• All surfaces and tools used for services will be cleaned and disinfected after each service.
• Disinfected implements will be stored in closed containers that have also been disinfected.
• Chairs and headrests will be disinfected before and after each client.
• Restroom will be regularly cleaned and disinfected.
